Visit to Tblisi, Georgia and then back to work

On October 12, the three sets of Armenia Senior Missionaries and Pres and Sister Carter went by car to Tblisi, Georgia.  Georgia is part of the Yerevan, Armenia Mission.  This was the first chance most of the Seniors have had to visit this country.  It was a beautiful drive, about 6 hours, through some great country.  We have seen the first part of the trip many times as we work on our Humanitarian projects.  The country side changed as soon as we crossed the border from Armenia to Georgia.  The farms were a lot bigger and the roads a lot better.  One of the first things that we saw was a very old method of moving farm produce.

We saw a lot of these
Georgia's version of Stonehenge, it is Christian rather than Pagan
Some of the Seniors can climb step faster than others
Each pillar depicted different events in Christs life
The old capitol of Georgia
The old capitol as seen from above

Looking across the river from one old church to another
Our Georgia summer home (in your dreams)
Enjoying each other and being tourists

Tblisi has four McDonalds.  Some of the Seniors were really excited.

The McDonalds was the real deal kind of.

We really enjoyed the break from the rigors of our Mission.  Georgia was a very beautiful place and Elder and Sister Reese, the Senior Couple in the country did a wonderful job of hosting our visit.  We finished with a very spiritual Testimony meeting at the Reese's apartment.  As much as we enjoyed the visit, we were really happy to get back home to Armenia and continue with the Lord's work.
